Thank you letters to Angels for Hope
I have wanted to drop you a line to tell you how much the kids I have referred to your organization have loved their special gifts.
My one child, Luke, emailed me from boston to tell me he received 11 angels in one day. Thank you so much for making HIS DAY!!!
I have now referred 3 of our kids to you, and will continue to refer some of our kids. You, and all your volunteers need to know how much these kids love receiving these angels, butterflies, and smiley faces from all over the country.
I love you organization and I am personally hoping to learn to crochet so that I may volunteer.
Keep up your great mission, and thanks from someone who see's the smiles that your volunteers help create.
Karen Ritter, RN, CPON
We just want to thank everyone for the beautiful angels and butterflies Mom received after Dad passed away. We didn't realize there was such a group of caring strangers -- who we now consider friends. Your generosity and thoughtfulness was overwhelming! We began to get a few crocheted items, then more arrived, and now Mom's dining wall is covered with angels and butterflies for all to see.
From the bottom of our hearts --thanks to all of you angels here on earth! You will be in our prayers always.

I would just love to thank your organization. I just recently lost my little sister (age 18) to a horrible motorcycle accident. Someone had requested your angels and butterflies for my parents. When they started arriving in the mail they were overcome with joy and happiness, it made them feel so special and really helped them through this difficult time. My mother has already decided to use all of the angels and butterflys to decorate our Christmas tree this next year in memory of my sister Katie. I just wanted to say thank you for brining a little ray of sunlight into this awful tradgedy. Bless all of you!
I was so surprised and so delighted with the angel you sent to me. I am crying as I write this. I was so glad I was alone when I opened the envelope, because I couldn't control my crying. Thank you for caring so much, even though I can hardly write back to you or anyone else. You made me feel so good, and I thanked God that he let me know people care about me. The angel is beautiful and stupid as it may sound, I kissed her and thanked her for being mine and helping me. I can't type too much more right now as my hands and fingers are not working the way they should, but I had to write and tell you how wonderful you are, how good you made me feel, and beautiful the angel is. With all my love,
I wanted to write and thank you for the beautiful angel that you and yours had sent to my brother, James McDonald, last year.
He lost his battle with cancer the week before Christmas. I wanted to let you know that he never kept his angel far from him. Quite the contrary, he kept it very close.
After he passed, we added the angel to our Christmas tree and it brought peace to me and my family. Thank you so much.
I would love to be able to crochet angels for your group. Could you please send a pattern or instructions? I'd like to return, in a small way, the kindness that was sent to Jimmy.
I know you didn't know him but he was one of the kindest people that I've ever known. He will be with me always and I know that I will see him again someday. . . .that glorious day. :)
God bless you and all around you.
On December 23rd my son passed away. The support and love expressed by our family and hometown friends was overwhelming but not unexpected. What was unexpected was the concern and love shown by people from all over the United States totally unknown to us. To have people respond purely out of love for the human race was awe- inspiring. It is this intangible bond that makes our country so great and powerful. To all of you "Angels" my family and I return the love and affection shown by you.

Dear Angels for Hope,
I wanted to thank everyone involved that sent us an angel for hope, especially Sue Robertson, who requested this. I was quite shocked at first, but every angel, butterfly brought a smile to our faces to know that someone that we dont even know could be praying for us. What a wonderful thing you are doing. We lost our 11 year old son Ryan from drowning in his swim class at school last Dec. 19th which was his sisters 14th birthday. It has been very difficult to accept, but we try to keep God first, as we know that my son is with Him. I found it very difficult to put any Christmas decorations up this year, but my daughter put up the tree, with a couple of he friends and the only ornaments she placed on the tree were all of your angels, how wonderful.

Thank you to you and your "team" for all that you do. My sister was diagnosed with cancer this past April and she was delighted to receive your angels of hope. After she passed away in October, we were organizing her things and saw that she had received many of your beautiful angels. Her son was touched by the angels of hope and now has them with him as a reminder that people do care. She told me that they were from all over the United States. I'm not sure how she received so many of them - but she loved every single one of them. There are no words to describe how much they meant to her. She loved knowing that someone was thinking of her and that someone else had such wonderful talent to make something especially for her. Thank you - THANK YOU!
God Bless you, the people that work with you and all of the many that are needing the prayers and "hope".

I have enough butterflies to give my 4 sisters one, and one for my mom, and one for me. I am planning on putting all the beautiful angels on my Christmas tree from now on, as a tribute to my dad.
Thank you all so very much. I wish I could find the words to express how i feel. Somehow, just thank you isnt enough...All of you are in my prayers. You are making such a big difference in peoples lives.

Have a very Merry Christmas
Thank you very much for the beautiful angel my mother-in-law got it and got to enjoy it for awhile before she passed away the 20th of Nov. As I told you before it was placed in her casket to help guide her to heaven were she is today a new woman with no more pain. Thank you again. Merry Christmas to you and your family and a very very happy new year.
Thank you for sending my 86 years young grandmother, Mimi Thomas. She is very thankful for the angel and keeps it under her pillow when she sleeps.
Thank you for the Christmas miracle.
We wish to lovingly and sincerely thank all those who have sent the beautiful angels and butterflies to us. They are sent with love and support during the loss of our two babies in November. One baby was a miscarriage after 4 1/2 months and the other, one week later, was our beautiful Tarpley, 15 months old, who was accidentally killed in his own drive way. Our hearts feel torn out, but each day all of us receive these extraordinary angels and butterflies to show us we are not alone. We don't know who requested them, but daily they come. We are touched beyond belief and appreciate all the love and prayers that accompany them.
We have saved some of each for our Christmas trees. The rest we gave in Tarpley's memory to the Methodist Children's Home in our town. They will save and use them every year on their Christmas tree. Thank you to all the angels out there.
From the parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents of Tarpley/ GA.
I wanted to thank you for all of the Angels that my Father received in the mail yesterday. We could not believe how many Angels were in the packag!!!

"To All those angels working at Angels of hope dedicated to helping those special souls, that need to know they are loved and cared for ".
I wish to thank member Teonie Timms and the dedicated members of Angels for hope for their recent special delivery of two crochet butterflys, your special little card and butterfly confetti that was sent to my severly ill sister.
When she recieved the parcel, she was so happy. It was as if all of her christmas's had come at once. My sister has several severe illnesses and disabilities and everyday she seemed to be slipping away from me.
My sister loves butterflies, and these two little butterflies were so beautifully crafted and made, they were even in my sisters favourite colours......Im not sure if this was intentional, but I want to thankyou from the bottom of my heart for these special gifts. I will not be able to afford a christmas for my sister, due to her high medical needs and the specialised euipment she will also need. So in many ways, you have also given her a christmas gift.
Everyday since recieving your parcel, my sister has had a twinkle in her eyes. And because my sister is Autistic, I would like to tell you happily, that she has been waving and flapping her arms and hands excitedly everytime she sees her two butterflys that I have put by her bedside table. The colourful butterflies are her comfort in knowing that somebody does care for her and love her...and she has been waiting 24yrs to know this.
My sister has no parents, I am her carer and do all I can for her. Although she knows I care for her and love her, it is so special to her in knowing that someone else cares. And now she knows this.
Thank you for giving my sister hope, and for sharing with her, a love that will not be forgotten.
You are All truly angels.
